Freelance Website Designer

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop visually appealing websites that meet client specifications and business goals.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas to stakeholders.
- Ensure websites are responsive and optimized for all devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with developers, content creators, and marketing teams to align design with overall project objectives.
- Utilize web content management systems (CMS) to manage and update site content.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies.
- Conduct website testing to identify and fix functionality, performance, and user experience issues.
- Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and search rankings.
- Maintain website documentation and create backup files regularly.
- Provide support for website maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.

Web Designer Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a web designer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
- Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and web accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with web content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A strong portfolio showcasing web design and development projects.

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Basic understanding of server-side languages such as PHP or Ruby.
