About The Opportunity
A primary care and outpatient clinic operating in the community healthcare sector, delivering routine medical services, preventive care, maternal & child health, and minor procedures in Koramangala, Bangalore. We provide patient-centric, clinic-based services focused on high-quality everyday care for local families and individuals.
Role Title: Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) - Staff Nurse (Clinic)
Role & Responsibilities
• Triage patients at reception, record presenting complaints, and measure vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, SpO2) for outpatient consultations.
• Administer vaccinations and injections, perform wound dressing, and provide basic first-aid and minor procedure assistance under clinician supervision.
• Support antenatal and postnatal care workflows: record maternal vitals, assist with basic screenings, and provide health education to mothers and families.
• Maintain accurate patient records, update clinic registers, and handle routine documentation for immunizations and follow-ups.
• Manage clinic inventory: prepare disposables, monitor stock levels, and ensure infection-control and sterilization protocols are followed.
• Provide patient counselling on medication adherence, minor home-care, appointment scheduling, and follow-up reminders as required.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
• ANM certificate (Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery) or equivalent accredited nursing certification
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain on joining
• Comfortable with fixed day-duty shift: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM onsite in Koramangala, Bangalore
• Proficiency in taking vitals and administering injections/vaccinations
• Basic documentation skills for clinic registers and immunization records
• Patient-facing clinical communication and counselling for maternal & child health
Preferred
• Prior experience in a busy outpatient clinic or primary health centre
• Training in infection control or clinic sterilization procedures
• Familiarity with digital patient record systems or basic clinic software
