• Evaluatemanufacturing processes based on quality criteria such asefficiency and speed
• Study production andmachine requirements
• Develop and testeffective automated and manual systems
• Designand install equipment
• Organize and managemanufacturing workflows and resources
• Integrate disparate systems (e.g. equipment handlingtransport)
• Optimize facility layoutsproduction lines machine operations and networkperformance
• Resolve issues and delays inproduction
• Find ways to reduce costs andmaximize quality
• Train staff in new andexisting processes
• Collaborate with otherengineers contractors and suppliers
• Ensurethat manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmentalregulations
• Upgrade systems and processes withnew technology

Requirements
• Previousexperience as a manufacturing engineer or similar role
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes fabrication methodsand tool design
• Familiarity with manufacturingequipment and quality assurance techniques
• Commitment to health and safety standards andenvironmental regulations
• Wellversed inrelevant software (e.g. CAD MS Office)
• Projectmanagement skills
• Problemsolvingability
• Teamwork skills
• Ability to occasionally work late shifts
• Degree in Engineering; postgraduate degree is aplus
