JOB DESCRIPTION:

. Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.

· Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required.

. Planning and overseeing production.

. Production engineers plan and create production processes that minimize wastes generated from industrial production lines and maximize the quality of production.

. Devise methods to reduce cost, increase productivity and raise profit.

. Perform quality checks, analyses production output and control inventory.

. Coordinate with vendors, staff and management to meet the manufacturing requirements.

. Identify unsafe production practices and follow safety procedures and guidelines.
