About the Role

The team oversees delivering and developing a diverse range of quality community facilities, optimising service outcomes and contributing to the social cohesion, economic viability and health and wellbeing of our community.

As a Front of House Assistant, you will assist in the coordination and operation of the public areas of Council Performance Venues encompassing assigned activities for performances, programs, and events by serving the needs of patrons and hirers.

About you

To be successful in the role you will provide an exceptional level of services excellence to hirers, patrons and the community, vast experience in banquets and events

You will assist venue staff in food and beverage preparation, barista coffee making, bar operations and ticketing for events. As well as assisting in setting up and packing down furniture, theming, catering, and equipment for events, and assisting with routine administration duties aligned to Front of House duties.

As a requirement of this role, you will have demonstrated experience working in a high paced, vibrant, profession team environment. Experience in events, food, and beverage operations and/or ticketing while providing exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

You are required to have or would be willing to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card, RSA & First Aid certification.

Essential to your success is physical agility and the level of fitness, strength and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting & bending. As such, appointment to this position is subject to completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.

Appointment to this position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a Criminal History Check.
