We are looking for a talented Front End Developer to join our team in the UK on a hybrid work basis. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly web applications that enhance the overall user experience. You will collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality digital products that meet our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop User Interfaces: Transform design mockups into functional web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring responsive design across various devices
• Collaborate with Teams: Work alongside UX/UI designers and back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and APIs
• Optimize Performance: Conduct performance testing and optimization of applications to ensure fast loading times and smooth interactions
• Maintain Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in web development
• User Experience Testing: Participate in user testing sessions to gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user insights
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve bugs or issues in existing applications to improve functionality and user satisfaction
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance your skills and contribute innovative ideas to the team
Requirements
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript; familiarity with frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS
• Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility testing
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for optimizing web applications
