Front|End Developer

About The Role
Exciting position for a talented Front-End Developer at a key moment in the history of one of Australia's dynamic web design agencies. You will be responsible for creative assets from Websites, Print Media, Social Media and Email within our drag and drop template web application.
About You
You'll be passionate about digital trends in Front-End Development (i.e. typography, CSS & JS frameworks) & User Experience principles with a background in Design and creative (Proficient skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch or Figma). You're driven, creative and have a collaborative approach to work. You have an eye for detail to the level of a pixel, and are willing to learn new tools. We're looking for self-starter who can come up with great ideas and then use a strong background to implement them successfully.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and maintain HTML/CSS templates within our drag and drop template web application
Develop and/or interpret artwork into functional HTML/CSS templates.
Updating and maintaining clients HTML and CSS while maintaining code structure and functionality
Assist setting up of clients accounts and templates using back end interface
Troubleshoot technical issues and communicate back to the stakeholders
Requirements
Sound front-end (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) skills
Ability to code HTML by hand.
Proficient in using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma
ability to take artwork and designs and code into HTML/CSS
A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering pixel-perfect designs.
experience with HTML 5 elements and LESS/SASS.
Good knowledge of CSS Animations, Flexbox, Grid, CSS Variables & SVG manipulations in JS.
Good knowledge of CSS frameworks , bootstrap or tailwind for example
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to breakdown/ convey technical and complex ideas.
Excellent communication skills
Provide examples of HTML/CSS based projects coded by you.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment workflows.
Minimum two years experience working Front End Development
Nice To Haves
Knowledge using HTML and CSS specifically for creating email templates
