Frontend Software Engineer

The Role:

We are looking for a Frontend Web developer to join our engineering team in designing and developing efficient, responsive user facing web applications.

Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance new/current features of existing applications
Design, develop, and maintain React.js components and applications
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to understand requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable applications.
Apply software development practices and standards to develop robust and maintainable software
Contribute in architectural and operational discussions, and ensure daily operations run smoothly
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver elegant solutions
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and help elevate technology and best practices
Participate in building an open engineering culture and mentor other team members through regular design and code reviews
Stay current with the latest trends in front-end application development ‍
Work independently and as part of a team
Work with other members of the team to ensure that our applications are user-friendly, efficient, and secure
Integrate WebRTC functionality with existing web applications, ensuring seamless user experiences.

Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years experience in front-end software development
Minimum 1 years experience in React or similar frameworks/libraries.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Familiarity with frontend development tools, package managers (e.g., npm, Yarn), and build systems (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
Experience/Knowledge of page optimization for reducing load time and SEO
Ability to write clean readable code, create extensive documentation for existing code, and refactor the previously written code into a readable state
Understanding of the Agile development life-cycle
Experience with automated testing and building
Extensive experience working with GIT and APIs (REST and RESTful).
Experience with testing frameworks and tools for React.js applications (e.g., Jest, Enzyme) is a plus.
Experience with third-party libraries.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ‍

Qualification:

BE, BTech, MTech, ME, MCA (minimum 4 years of degree)
