The Role:
Rakuten Kobo is looking for a Fullstack .NET Developer to join our team and be instrumental in building the next generation of supply chain solutions that will directly impact our efficiency and bottom line. You'll be at the forefront of innovation, using cutting-edge technologies to solve real-world supply chain challenges. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining innovative solutions that drive efficiency and optimize our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for developing both front-end and back-end components of our applications, working with a modern technology stack including .NET, React JS, SQL Server, and MongoDB. Job Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using .NET, React JS, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with other developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
Contribute to code reviews and ensure code quality.
Participate in agile development methodologies.
Work closely with the SCM team to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
Contribute to the improvement of our development processes and tools.
Must-Have Skills:
Proficiency in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/ .NET).
Strong experience with React JS for front-end development.
Solid understanding of relational databases, specifically SQL Server.
Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
Experience with AI/ML concepts and their application in software development (e.g., using AI for data analysis, predictive modeling, or automation).
Experience with GraphQL.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Full Stack or .NET Developer.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with new technologies.
