General Accounting Manager

Strong understanding of general ledger, balance sheets, income statements, and financial reporting principles.
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills including experience with automated accounting and billing systems, accounting software and databases.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; advanced technical skills using Excel, required; experience with business management systems such as Chrome River, Aderant, and SQL systems preferred.
Excellent communication, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills; attention to detail essential.
Proactive, inquisitive, and analytical problem solver able to exercise independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques for resolution.
Ability to collaborate and cross-team with all administrative areas and promote a positive work environment that embraces the diversity and skills of all members.
Excellent client service skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with a spirit of cooperation.
Forward-thinker who is open to new ideas and a desire to try new techniques and processes.
Demonstrate initiative with proven leadership skills; potential to assume more responsibility.
Requires flexibility and ability to prioritize workload effectively.
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA Preferred.
Must possess excellent accounting skills and minimum of five years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
At least three years of management experience in a client-driven professional environment, conducting financial analysis and providing recommendations around analysis.
