MACHINE OPERATOR FOR DAY SHIFT - COATED FACTORY

Sealord is a global seafood enterprise with a world-wide fishing, processing and marketing network. Sealord retains its home base in New Zealand and has led the seafood industry in the careful and sustainable management of fish and seafood resources.

A Fixed Term position has become available for a Machine Operator in Coated Products on day shift. The role is Monday – Friday, 6am to 2:30pm however at times you may be required to start earlier some days in the week.

This role requires good mechanical aptitude and the ability to think and plan, managing the requirements and timing of product changes so that processing downtime is minimized. Flexibility for some early starts is expected. To be successful in this role you will need to have capability with working with machinery, ensuring the machines are efficiently and correctly set up for production.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be:

100% committed to health and safety
Able to work with continuous processing lines
Have good hand to eye coordination
Physically able to do lifting
Punctual, reliable and good time management.

A satisfactory pre-employment drug test and a physical medical assessment will be required to be considered for this role. Applicants must have legal entitlement to live and work in New Zealand.
