About the Role
As a General Hand, you’ll play an important role in keeping our sites running smoothly. From site preparation to general maintenance, you’ll be hands-on out in the field supporting the wider team across a variety of tasks.
This is a casual role with a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in a job well done, and values safety above all.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting site preparation, including hazard identification and setting up safe work areas
Carrying out general labouring tasks such as trench digging, weed control, and erosion control
Assisting with equipment handling and transport of materials
Helping maintain site cleanliness and overall tidiness
Ensuring tools, equipment, and PPE are well maintained and fit for purpose
Working closely with the team to meet operational and customer requirements
Upholding strong health, safety, and environmental standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in general laboring or outdoor work
A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in
Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to carry out physical tasks including lifting, digging, and manual work
Good literacy skills (able to read plans and follow instructions)
A reliable and safety-focused mindset
Licences & Requirements
Full Class 1 driver licence
Class 2 is preferred but not essential
