At the heart of The Parlour Italian Kitchen & Bar is our stone-encased, 900-degree wood-burning oven and an unwavering commitment to excellence, sourcing the finest ingredients from Italy, including 00 flour, world-class tomatoes and cheeses, alongside premium local meats—resulting in what many consider the best pizza in Edmonton….and we do too!

We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead our fresh-food Italian restaurant—a highly visible, guest-driven role for a polished, articulate, and inspiring hospitality leader with a deeply rooted passion for culture-building. This opportunity is for someone who thrives on connection, presence, and excellence. The position calls for dedicated hands on hospitality leader who understands both the art of great food and the energy of a lively atmosphere—someone who can balance operational excellence with warmth, creativity, and can provide an elevated guest experience.

Successfully operating The Parlour Italian Kitchen & Bar requires mastery of a high-energy, fast-paced environment, with the ability to seamlessly transition from a filled 2 story dining room on Oilers games nights or concerts, to large parties, private events, and weddings. The Parlour Italian Kitchen & Bar is not just a restaurant—it is an experience rooted in hospitality, craftsmanship, and the timeless joy of sharing a great meal with the people who matter most.

The ideal candidate is well-spoken, confident, and naturally engaging—someone who sets the tone on the floor, builds strong teams through leadership and example setting, and creates memorable guest experiences every day. You bring energy, warmth, and professionalism, balancing a lively attitude with operational discipline and high standards.

GENERAL MANAGER: Our General Managers are ultimately responsible for the overall success & profitability of the operation.

RESPONSIBILITES:

Develops staff, sets performance targets and provides regular feedback to HO
Uses effective hiring methods, promotes continuous hiring and recognizes high potential talent
Produces quality candidates for future leadership positions to support our future growth plans Manages and is accountable for ALL FOH related costs
Strives to increase sales by using knowledge of CHG's leverage & unique market advantage and resolves potential challenges at a store level
Works with the Chef to oversee kitchen operations
Prepares weekly schedules to meet projected sales and labour costs
Upholds stringent environmental standards - regularly monitoring and evaluating the decor, lighting and music of the restaurant to maintain CHG's standards
Develops and participates in sales & marketing initiatives and optimizes the opportunity for 'customer touches' to create a loyal customer base

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
