Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a full time Geography Teacher to support an ambitious secondary school in Upminster.

Requirements
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ PGCE with a specialism in Geography
• Eligibility to work in the UK is essential
• An enhanced DBS on the update service - this is essential
• Minimum of 3 Months teaching experience in the UK.
• Previous experience teaching the Geography GCSE curriculum
• Provide 2 proven professional references.
• Opportunity of a permanent position
Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with curriculum requirements
• Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in Geography to students across KS3 and KS4
• Lead and manage the Geography department, ensuring a high-quality curriculum and teaching standards
• Support, develop, and hold accountable the Geography teaching team
• Contribute to raising student attainment standards across the school
• Share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth
• Promote the wellbeing of staff and students within the department
