Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned leader to helm our dispensing opticians in our Glasgow City Centre branch, driving sales growth and enhancing customer satisfaction through strategic planning and effective team management. As a key member of the Specsavers team, you will contribute to the company's success by delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a positive, inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
* Lead and motivate a team of dispensing opticians to deliver high-quality patient care and services
* Foster a collaborative, learning-oriented team culture and encourage staff development and growth
* Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of staff motivation and development
* In-depth knowledge of the optical industry, including market trends and competitor analysis
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and make informed decisions
* A deep understanding of quality and safety standards, with experience in maintaining high standards within a clinical environment
