Global Travel Operations Senior Coordinator

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Global Travel Operations Sr. Coordinator will work closely with the Global Travel Operations Manager and will primarily be responsible for supporting Global Travel in areas of payment reporting, analysis, virtual payment, and local finance support.

The Global Travel Operations Sr. Coordinator will be tasked with auditing and managing process enhancements based on feedback from local stakeholder. S/he will also be responsible for liaising with the credit card provider and the travel agency points of contact. The role is also an internal customer service travel role to relevant BCG stakeholders.

The specific responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to:
• Work with the GT Operations Manager to support the maintenance and development of the Global Travel Central Corporate Card Program from operational point of view
• Coordinate with local Finance to support travel related payment reporting, analysis, queries, etc.
• Bridge the gap between Amex cards and Amex GBT teams to standardize processes and reporting
• Auditing of card program reconciliations and data feeds
• Assist in the implementations of Virtual Payments for hotels and other travel related expenses at global level in line with BCG’s NWOW and NWOT
• Provide second level assistance to local Finance/Travel nodes who are experiencing problems and issues with BTA card statements, transactions, invoicing, etc.
• Support the review process & procedure guidelines and communicate all changes or updates in a timely manner.
• Prepare and present monthly metrics to appropriate leadership.
• Support the Global travel team with any additional tasks/projects within the scope of the global Travel program

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

We are looking for an individual with 3-5 years of relevant work experience who can bring knowledge to the BCG travel function.

The technical qualifications include:
• Experience from travel industry preferably understanding of travel agency billing, IATA BSP, etc.
• Experience in professional corporate card program and BTA administration
• Deep understanding of T&E and Corporate Card programs, including experience with implementing new programs and processes
• Experience working with all levels of the organization with proven ability to interface and communicate well with all leadership levels
• Experience with Excel—ability to design, enhance, and maintain spreadsheets
• Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organized and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement
• Passion for compliance and data integrity
• Good communication skills and capability to present the findings into understandable documents.

• Second language is helpful
