Job Title: Governance Support Officer
Location: Barton, ACT
About the Role:
The Governance Support Officer will work with the Senior Governance Support Officer to provide secretariat and coordination support and services for various boards and committees across the Information Services Division.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience providing secretariat support to a government board or committee or a willingness to learn. You will also possess strong organisation skills, ability to manage competing priorities and respond to changing requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Perform secretariat activities and services for various ICT boards and committees in ISD, including coordinating meeting preparation activities, preparing board packs and materials, managing meeting bookings and attendance, and taking formal meeting Minutes.
Draft high-quality and accurate written communication materials and visual presentations using Microsoft Office software.
Plan and prioritise work, be flexible to changing business priorities, and act as an escalation point for related matters of concern.
Initiate, build and maintain strong, productive working relationships with stakeholders across internal and external networks.

Eligibility:
Under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1+++, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the APS unless the Agency Head has agreed otherwise, in writing.
