About the Role
We are looking for a skilled FOIA Analyst III to provide critical support to policy and program offices within a government agency. This position involves managing and processing complex FOIA requests, conducting thorough record searches, evaluating exemptions, and determining appropriate redactions to ensure compliance with FOIA laws and agency policies.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with requesters, agency staff, legal counsel, and other stakeholders, and have a strong understanding of Exemptions 1-7. They will also be responsible for promoting transparency within the government agency by disclosing non-exempt information directly to requestors and making proactive disclosures of non-exempt information readily accessible via the government online electronic reading room.
