Government Relations and Business Development Manager
The role of Government Relations and Business Development Manager requires a unique blend of skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the gaming industry. Key Responsibilities
Meet with regulatory clients to develop relationships and identify opportunities for regulatory development and services.
Negotiate and secure business with regulatory and supplier clients, while maintaining strong relationships.
Deliver sales presentations to clients, highlighting the value proposition of GLI's services.
Project manage client interactions, working closely with engineering and compliance departments to ensure client satisfaction.
Maintain a deep understanding of gaming regulations, processes, and procedures.
Stay up-to-date on legislation and articles affecting gaming, lottery, and voting testing, providing analysis to relevant personnel.
Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and training coordinators for in-service training classes.
Maintain a strong understanding of GLI's services, tools, and training offerings.
Forecast client activity and plan accordingly to meet goals set by management.
Analyze market trends to determine client needs.
Develop and implement visitation and contact schedules for assigned territory clients.
Update CRM information for assigned clients.
Record all visits and telephone contacts for assigned regulatory clients within CRM.
Generate reports as required.
Provide translations for in-house use.
Participate in tradeshows and/or regulatory conferences as necessary.
Ensure timely and professional support and service to clients.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, diploma, certificate or equivalent in a related field.
Highly effective communication skills, both written and oral, in English.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in Gaming, Marketing, Sales, or customer service.
3-5 years previous sales/development experience preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and customer interface skills.
Ability to create and deliver presentations to small and large groups of clients.
Must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and prospective clients.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
High attention to quality, details, and correctness.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Valid driver's license.
Valid passport.
May require obtaining gaming regulatory licensing, where applicable.
