ABOUT

Holy Cross is a Catholic high school and opened in 1+82, in Surrey British Columbia. The school serves over 800 students annually and is a member of the Catholic Schools of The Vancouver Archdiocese.



Holy Cross is the largest school in the diocese and is currently completing the construction of Phase 1 of a new school facility. The school offers an extremely balanced extracurricular program with up to 300 students in the music and drama programs and an equal number involved in the athletic program. The school has traditionally had a very high level of participation in all areas. The athletic program has produced a large number of accomplishments a variety of provincial sports. The music program has also been extremely successful over the years.

Holy Cross offers staff and students a supportive and uniquely supportive community. Students are afforded a number of opportunities to develop their faith, a greater sense of service to the community, as well as individual leadership skills. The staff has a strong team dynamic where new members will find a commitment to professional development and deep ethic of care for their students.



JOB DESCRIPTION

Holy Cross Regional High School is currently looking for a full time teacher qualified to teach foods and either junior art or English classes. The position is for the entire school year from September through to June. Qualified candidates are required to have their Certification from the BC Teachers Regulation Branch.

On an on-going basis, we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. All Catholics, non-Catholics, new education grads, and experienced teachers from across Canada are strongly encouraged to apply.
