About the Opportunity
As part of the Customer & Marketing Program, the Graduate, Data Processing and Enforcement will develop their skills through a combination of on-the-job learning, structured development activities, and meaningful project work. In this role, you will make a real contribution to the team’s success by supporting the Enforcement Officer across a range of compliance, enforcement, and administrative functions.
You will assist with managing parking, compliance, and health enforcement activities, including expiations, court referrals, and prosecutions, ensuring adherence to legislation, Council policies, and procedures. You’ll work closely with the Customer Centre to deliver timely and accurate parking administration services and play an important role in resolving customer queries and correspondence.
This opportunity offers a strong foundation in compliance operations and public administration, with the chance to build your skills in customer service, stakeholder management, record-keeping, and legal processes. As part of the City of Adelaide’s Graduate Program, you’ll also be supported in your career development journey, with access to a range of training, projects, and mentoring experiences.

Mentorship: You'll be partnered with a City of Adelaide leader who will provide guidance and support throughout your first year.
Development: Approximately 40 hours of professional development over the graduate program, including participation in the City Leaders program and a collaborative group project with other graduates.
Regular check-ins: You’ll have regular 1:1 conversation with your leader to ensure ongoing support, goal setting, wellbeing checks and guidance.
Hone your skills: Opportunities to develop a broad range of transferable skills relevant to various government roles federal, state and local.
Networking opportunities: within the City Council and the broader government sector.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Graduated within approximately the last year or are expecting to graduate within approximately the next 6 months, with a degree in Business / Legal Studies or related field.
Understanding of the customer service environment in delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
Demonstrated ability to plan and operate efficiently under pressure to complete work.
Skilled in communication and being able to present effectively both orally and written.
Strong organisational skills, the ability to successfully manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
A commitment to ongoing professional development, continuous learning, and to building your career.
