Role And Responsibilities
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects.
• Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted assistance and ensure all students can access the curriculum.
• Assist with lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom management.
• Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers to help inform teaching strategies.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events, contributing to the wider school community.
What We're Looking For
• A recent graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for education.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A proactive, flexible approach and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
• A desire to learn and develop professionally, with an interest in pursuing a career in teaching or education.
• Previous experience working with children or young people is advantageous but not essential.
