We're looking for an innovative Graphic Design & Content Coordinator to join our team and bring Applaud's brand to life through compelling visuals and engaging digital content. If you're someone who takes initiative, delivers results, and has a keen eye for design, we'd love to hear from you!
What Will Your Typical Day Look Like?
There's no such thing as a ?typical? day! This is an exciting and fast-paced role where you will design eye-catching marketing materials, create engaging social media content, and contribute to the overall digital marketing strategy. You'll work closely with the marketing team to enhance Applaud's online presence and ensure our brand messaging is strong, consistent, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Graphic Design:
Design high-quality visual content, including social media posts, infographics, digital banners, marketing materials, and annual business plans.
Develop engaging, on-brand graphics for various marketing channels, including emails, websites, and print collateral.
Capture and edit photos and videos for marketing and social media use.
Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.
Social Media Strategy & Management:
Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content.
Monitor trends, track performance metrics, and provide insights to optimize engagement and reach.
Actively engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
Work with the Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist to report on paid campaign performance and suggest optimizations.
Collaborate with business development and programming teams to align social media initiatives with broader marketing goals.
Marketing Campaign Support:
Assist in executing digital marketing campaigns to drive engagement and conversions.
Ensure social media efforts are integrated with email marketing and other promotional initiatives.
Track and report on campaign performance, including reach, engagement, and conversions.
Community Engagement:
Foster relationships with followers, influencers, and industry partners to create a vibrant online community.
Actively engage with our audience to build brand loyalty and increase visibility.
Brand Development:
Work closely with the marketing team to maintain a strong and consistent brand presence.
Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new campaign ideas and content strategies.

Experience & Education:
2+ years of experience in graphic design and social media management, or less with a strong portfolio.
Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Digital Media, Visual Communication, or a related field.
Creative & Technical Skills:
Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Figma, and Sketch.
Strong writing and editing skills to create compelling, brand-infused content.
Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
Knowledge of video editing, photography, and digital marketing strategies.
Understanding of SEO and content management systems (WordPress) is an asset.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to collaborate with web developers.
Solid grasp of analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights) to track and optimize performance.
Soft Skills & Work Ethic:
Highly creative with a strong sense of storytelling and visual communication.
Strong time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
