Job description
As a Graphic Design Faculty at INSD Kolkata, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of designers by creating and delivering engaging curriculum content, overseeing design projects, and providing mentorship to students. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, staying abreast of industry trends, collaborating with fellow faculty members, and actively participating in institutional events.
To excel in this role, you should possess a strong command of Graphic Design principles, Typography, and Layout skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is essential. Your knowledge of Digital Media, Branding, and Interactive Design will be crucial in guiding students towards a comprehensive understanding of the field.
Your excellent Presentation, Mentorship, and Communication skills will enable you to effectively convey complex design concepts and inspire students throughout their creative journey. A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is required. Prior experience in teaching at a design institute or relevant industry experience will be advantageous.
