Graphic Design Intern

11 Ouest is looking for a creative, motivated graphic design intern to add to its creative team. As an intern at 11 Ouest, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with teams across the company and create thoughtful, engaging designs in both digital and print channels.

You will have the support and guidance of the design team to learn the ins and outs of visual communication and the different aspects of graphic design. This self-motivated candidate must have a strong understanding of composition, type and layout, a sharp eye for detail, and an excellent work ethic to handle multiple projects at once.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Support all areas of design as needed - from email newsletters, digital marketing collateral, social content (grid, stories, reels), and a variety of other digital and print marketing collateral
• Edit photo and video assets for use across a wide variety of social platforms; create visual mock-ups of creative concepts for use in new biz proposals.
• Manage multiple projects at the same time while working on tight deadlines
• Contribute your unique visual lens in brainstorms for a variety of brands; help us deliver creative, unexpected materials for both existing clients and new opportunities.

Programs and Skills Necessary:
• Familiarity with all of Adobe Creative Suite, expert in Photoshop, In-Design, Illustrator. Major bonus if you are comfortable with Premier Pro and After Effects.
• Wizard with PowerPoint.
• Hands on experience with branding, typography, web design, photo editing, video editing.
• 1-2 years of graphic design experience supported by a portfolio that demonstrates a track record of delivering thoughtful, elevated, and considered designs.
• Knowledge of online (including social media) capabilities in harmony with traditional media.
