We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and be proficient in various design software. This role requires a passion for visual storytelling and the ability to effectively communicate ideas through compelling graphics. As a Graphic Designer with advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create visually appealing designs that align with our brand and marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

1. Design Conceptualization

Collaborate with the creative team and clients to understand project requirements and objectives
Develop design concepts, graphics, and layouts for a range of projects including apparel/textiles (costumes, teamwear, banners), print materials (catalogues, brochures), and digital platforms (social media, websites, email campaigns)
Utilize Adobe InDesign extensively to develop layout-based documents and multi-page formats with consistent visual flow and style
Place graphic artwork onto patterns following design illustrations, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all materials
Brainstorm ideas and create graphic mockups quickly and efficiently
Interpret and apply brand guidelines effectively across all platforms
Create other visual materials for print and web, as required
2. Prototyping & Presentation

Conceptualize new costume ideas collaboratively with the Design Team
Create and layout original artwork considering size, placement, and style
Grade/size logos and design elements across a full range of garment sizes
Customize layout details like names and numbers for individualized apparel
Use InDesign to prepare professional mockups and presentation materials for client review
Present ideas to clients, incorporating feedback and revisions as needed
3. Production Responsibilities

Prepare final print files for customer orders, ensuring colour and artwork accuracy across garment sizes
Build and maintain Master Templates and catalogues using InDesign to support design consistency
Maintain the Design Library, updating design assets regularly
Match colours and fabrics to meet specific design briefs
Work with Heat Press and Sublimation Teams to ensure timely production
Manage project timelines and deliverables efficiently
Create detailed artwork spec files for handoff to production teams
4. Collaboration & Innovation

Offer constructive critique and bring fresh, creative ideas to the table
Maintain organized records of all design projects
Stay current on industry design trends, software updates, and techniques
Conduct trend research across forecasting sites, competitors, and social platforms
Contribute to video editing or motion graphics as needed
Retouch and edit images to enhance visual appeal
Skills & Qualifications

Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign (Photoshop and Illustrator also required)
Strong artistic portfolio showcasing apparel applications, layout expertise, and garment-specific graphics
Advanced understanding of how to apply graphic design to apparel and pattern pieces
High level of creativity and attention to detail
Excellent colour sense and knowledge of textiles and embellishments
Strong time management and project prioritization skills
Effective communicator and team collaborator with openness to feedback
Apparel industry experience preferred, especially in sublimation or heat press printing
Experience designing catalogues, spec sheets, and professional layout documents in InDesign
