Matchsire is a publishing startup working in digital sports news and story publication industry covering all major leagues of popular sports and events globally. We are looking for Graphic Designers for our office in Kolkata, West Bengal.
You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you'll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail.
Responsibilities
• Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials or as per suggestions from the editorial team.
• Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
• Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
• Coordinating with editorial team as necessary for ideas.
• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations company logos, and websites with software such as photoshop, illustrator, Canva.
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.
• Creating thumbnails, posters and social media posts for articles and various concepts as required.
Qualifications
• 2-4 years of experience in graphic design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
• Portfolio of work
• Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator.
• Experience of creating different posters of different resolutions and aspect ratio as per social media conditions.
• Experience working with online graphic tools like Canva.
• Experience creating Thumbnails for Media.
• A strong eye for visual composition.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design
