Graphic Designer

Primary Objectives
Working within the Marketing Department as part of the Graphic Design team.

The primary function of the role is to design and develop beautiful 'on brand' layouts and illustrations for print publications and other marketing material.

Main Tasks and Key Areas of Work
• To be a key member of the creative team, working with the Creative Director and Director of Marketing & Communications to develop the visual direction of the Pharma brand.

To design and manage the production of effective marketing materials including catalogue and brochure design, POS, stationery & signage in line with agreed timeframes and budgets.
• To work from agreed design briefs, producing innovative solutions that combine both written and visual elements.

Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.
• Image processing to a high standard, for print and web
• Taking design briefs from typesetting through to design, print and production
• Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size
• Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, labelling, company logos, and static web pages.
• An understanding of the latest software skills and their role within a commercial environment and share this knowledge within the design team
• To assist the Creative Director and the Director of
Marketing & Communications in developing the visual direction of our brand

QUALIFICATIONS
• Graphic Design degree or similar
including Corel Draw

WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
• Exceptional creative flair
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Extensive knowledge of Indesign / Photoshop / Coral draw / paragraph /character styles, page templates and preflight checks. Using these skills to make detailed promotional marketing materials, such as brochures and catalogues.
• Proven competence in image processing software using Adobe Photoshop
• Proven project management experience: The ability to coordinate and deliver multiple projects at one time, to a high standard and within deadlines
• Experience of working within an inhouse design team for a Pharma Brand
• Experience of designing and producing direct mail literature

₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
