CTL is a highly successful, entrepreneurial and innovation-led food company. Its business includes franchised distribution, retail and manufacturing operations. For 41 years, CTL has been making some of New Zealand's most loved food brands, such as Cookie Time, Bumper, OSM and Em's Power Cookies.

We are offering a unique opportunity to a fabulously talented individual to work as part of the Creative Team of Cookie Time Limited, creating innovative brand collateral for its large portfolio of brands.

The position is part-time - Mondays and Tuesdays each week. The successful applicant should have the flexibility to do further hours if required.



Main Responsibilities:

Generating artwork in response to business needs.
Taking artwork from concept through to print ready / digital file completion.
Rendering of artwork to provide sense check of designs.
Development of trade presenters and POS.
Creating and updating training manuals, sales and conference materials.
Creating of sales and marketing presentations and instore collateral for our Japan business
GS1 Barcode management, verification and generation.
Proofing and signing off of artwork.
Supporting brand development.
Packaging development for new products and product extensions.
Merchandise design.
Working closely with suppliers, understanding the packaging process, timelines and requirements.


Skills and Experience

Proven record of creative idea generation, drawing, development, design and artworking.
Ability to draw/illustrate.
Appreciation and understanding of brand equity and development.
A tertiary qualification in graphic design, design or photography.
At least four years experience in a graphic design role, with expertise in packaging, POS and print management and competence in web, social and digital design.
FMCG and agency experience is an advantage.
Experience with Adobe Creative, Microsoft Office and Google Docs is a must.
Experience working in a Mac Environment, and able to quickly learn new systems and applications required.
Experience with Dreamweaver, Dimensions and Blender 3D is an advantage.
