Guidance Officer - Whites Hill State College (0.8 FTE)

Whites Hill State College has an exciting opportunity for a confident, inspirational and dedicated individual to join their senior leadership team as a Guidance Officer (GO) supporting in the Primary Sector (Prep - Year 6).This role is being offered in a temporary part-time capacity (0.8 FTE), for a period of 12 months, unless otherwise determined.

About The Role

Whites Hill State College are looking for a dynamic, passionate leader who will work as a member of the leadership team. As the Guidance Officer you will:

Provide professional expertise, leadership and support to school communities and networks in the development and implementation of plans, programs, and procedures to assist students in achieving positive educational, developmental and lifelong learning outcomes
Collaboratively negotiate, develop and implement programs for students that have a focus on preventative and early intervention strategies; are responsive to identified personal, social, emotional and educational needs; and aim to foster resilience and personal skills development.
