About the Role: As a Sales Officer for Government & Institutional Business, you will play a crucial role in acquiring and managing relationships with government bodies, public sector undertakings (PSUs), and other institutional clients. You will work closely with these entities to understand their financial requirements and offer customized banking solutions to meet their needs. This role presents an excellent opportunity to engage with diverse stakeholders and drive business growth in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and prospect government bodies, PSUs, and institutional clients to generate business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
• Understand the financial objectives and challenges of clients and recommend suitable banking products and services.
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that address the specific needs of government and institutional clients.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify potential business opportunities.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the government and institutional business division.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in sales or relationship management roles, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of government banking and institutional business practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve targets and deliver results.
