Objectives of the Position
Why does this position exist? With what permanent objectives?
• C&B COE, India : Support in all central C&B guidance
• HRBP- R&D, COA, Legal and Procurement: Employees in HR Business Partnering are Strategic Partners to the divisions that they support. They help to enhance the divisions understanding of the central standards for personnel work and increase their acceptance locally. In their daily work, they represent the Human Resources point of view in the divisional strategy and they advise divisional management and management staff on personnel matters.
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
As C&B COE, India : Support in all central C&B guidance including but not limited to
• Job Benchmarking support and guidance
• Reward and Recognition framework and overview,
• Drive Policy Review changes and updates in line with market and organization needs
• HR Projects like HR GRIP, C&B portal etc.
• Performance Management coordination and support
As HR Business Partner:
• Conduct HC planning and ongoing HC monitoring, participate in discussions on HC optimization, operate active HC steering
• Consult and advise units leaders in the country on HR related topics
• Provide orientational advice to (new) BU/ SU leaders in Country on topics like organizational set-up, talent status, overview of local labor market.
• Consult on utilization of retention tools.
• Facilitate clear & transparent communication to BU/SU employees thru Town halls & organize skip level meetings
• Coach People managers (existing & new) to assume full responsibilities for performance & development coaching
• HR Strategy & Initiatives: If applicable, unit specific initiatives in the country, in line with regional direction. Support unit global / regional initiative implementation in the country
• Drive Employee voices and FBFF actionables for designated service units / functions etc.
• HR project management and implementation in the country
• Talent & Leadership Development: Facilitate discussion with unit leaders in the country and provide input for BU talent discussion and overview alignment
• Initiate and facilitate succession planning for key positions
• Develop & implement career roadmap/profiles for different BU-specific job clusters
• Facilitate training measures to foster leadership impact,
• Facilitate internal talent sourcing
• Identify individual leadership impact improvement potentials/needs, organize specific/individual development measures
• HR Analytics: Analyze relevant parameters, draw insights and derive actions if needed for unit in the country
• Employee engagement / Employee relations / Case Handling
• Performance & Low Performance Management
• Employee Development
• HR Communication including merit cycle or other changes
• COE Interface: Work closely with T.A., L&D and HR Ops with country and shared services platform to ensure smooth HR deliverables to the designated unit
Job Requirements (minimum requirement to carry out the work)
Education
• Masters Degree/MBA
Working Experience
• 8-12 Years
Technical & Professional Knowledge
• Experience in a matrix organization along with manufacturing experience preferred
• Board experience across the HR verticals minimum in 1 or 2 COEs along with business partner experience (Talent Management, C&B, Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility, Compliance & University Relations)
• The Incumbent should posses Good Communication skills and should have collaborative in approach
