Head Chef and Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled couple to join our team . The ideal couple will play a crucial role in our kitchen by preparing and cooking high-quality meals and guest relations . These position requires a passion for the Food & Beverage and hotel industry and the ability to work efficiently . The Chef| cook should be able to come up with daily specials, sauces made from scratch, cook breakfast. They should have great customer service skills.

Please note our hotel is a non smoking hotel so this couples position will not be suitable for smokers. Food and accommodation will be provided as well As shared tips.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high quality and presentation.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including utensils and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of all food items.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Front Desk check-in guests.
Housekeeping
Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food service industry.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork in a busy kitchen environment.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.73-$25.57 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
