A leading Surfers Paradise restaurant is seeking a skilled Junior Sous Chef to oversee kitchen operations and ensure exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the overall running of the kitchen, including stock control and ordering.
Oversee preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high service standards.
Train and mentor junior chefs to develop their skills and confidence.
Ensure compliance with food, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience in Japanese cuisine and Sashimi preparation.
Excellent time management, leadership, and ability to work under pressure.
Supervising a team in the absence of management.
Ordering and stocktaking experience, managing COGS.
Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery and food safety.
