Are you an experienced and dedicated HR professional looking to take full ownership of the HR function in a stand-alone role? This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, innovative company during an exciting period of transformation and expansion.

My client has ambitious growth plans following a recent change in ownership structure and is looking to strengthen the Senior Leadership Team to drive continued success. With an imminent move to brand-new premises in Leeds, this is a pivotal time to help shape the evolving company culture and support the next phase of development.

What You’ll Do:

As Head of HR, you’ll have the autonomy to manage all aspects of HR, from strategic planning to day-to-day operations, helping foster a positive and collaborative workplace. This role is ideal for a hands-on, adaptable HR leader who thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Align HR strategies with company growth.
• Manage conflicts, grievances, and maintain the employee handbook.
• Lead coaching, mentoring, and professional development initiatives.
• Design and support appraisal processes and rewards systems.
• Ensure full compliance with employment law and health & safety standards.
• Oversee employee benefits, including pensions and recognition programs.
• Drive employee engagement, shape company culture, and support events.
• Lead recruitment efforts, talent management, and ensure smooth onboarding.
• Promote equal opportunities and prevent discrimination.
• Monitor staff turnover and employee metrics to inform strategic decisions.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven experience as a senior HR leader, ideally in a stand-alone role.
• Strong expertise in employment law, compliance, employee relations, and recruitment.
• Proficient in managing benefits, performance management, and training programs.
• Skilled in fostering company culture and driving employee engagement.
• Strong HR analytics skills and commitment to diversity and inclusion.

This is a hands-on, autonomous role for a proactive HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be working with a passionate, creative team where you can make a real impact on growth and culture.

If you’re ready to lead, innovate, and shape HR strategy in a high-growth environment based in Leeds, we’d love to hear from you!

The role is based on site in Leeds (free parking) with the option to work from home 1 day a week.

Competitive salary, Discretionary Bonus Scheme, Free Parking, Private Healthcare, Cycle to Work Scheme, 25 day holiday. 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday
