Job Summary :
The position will be responsible for formulating and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue
and growth targets for Lal Sweets Pvt Ltd across business Channels. The primary focus being
developing and nurturing strong relationships with key stake holders, managing sales teams, and
develop sales through better performance in the current channels and develop new opportunities by
forging new relations and developing new areas.
Qualification
Experience of at least 5 years as the head of sales for a medium/ large sized organization.
Masters in Business Administration.
15 years of progressive experience in sales management, preferably in the FMCG industry,
with a focus on General Trade, Modern Trade, and E-commerce sales, HORECCA division.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor
sales teams.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
Familiarity with sales software and MS Office applications.
Willingness to travel as needed to various locations for customer meetings and business.
Job Description:
Develop and implement sales strategies for General Trade, Modern Trade, and E-commerce
channels, in alignment with the company's overall objectives.
Oversee and manage sales teams, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the
achievement of individual and team sales targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify
opportunities for growth and respond proactively to market changes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers to
enhance sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional activities, product launches,
and sales campaigns to drive brand awareness and boost sales.
Analyse sales data and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations for
improving sales performance and operational efficiency.
Work closely with the production and supply chain teams to ensure optimal product
availability and timely delivery to customers.
Monitor and manage budgets, sales forecasts, and expenses to achieve cost efficiency and
profitability.
Identify and onboard new customers and channels to expand the company's market reach.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to implement innovative sales
techniques and stay ahead of the competition.
Business Growth - Deliver Year on Year Sales Growth / Market Share Gain in the branch
across all Product Divisions by devising branch level sales & commercial strategies
Implement GTM Strategy - through regular review mechanism and articulating the need to
the team.
Existing Key Dealer Engagement - Seamless relationship with key dealer segment and
ensuring existing dealer growth.
New Channel Expansion - Structured approach in identifying market gaps and appointment
right channel partners to expand market reach.
New Product / Channel Launches - Launch & Market Development of New Products.
Key Influencer / Customer Connect – with respective internal and external customers as
maybe required for business from time to time.
Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, Distribution,
revenue, and stick to expense budgets for the period.
Team Management - Build, Align & Motivate team to achieve their goals. Ensure proper
career path and guidance to team. Develop team so that they effectively and efficiently
achieve their goals. In short b responsible for the team – cost vs revenue.
Decisive & effective problem-solving ability. Sound analytical skills; both qualitative &
• quantitative.
