Job Summary:

As the Sales Head, you will be responsible for sponsorship generation and sales management related to multiple teams. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue generation through corporate sponsorships and partnerships. Your leadership and strategic thinking will be crucial to the success of our sports teams and the growth of our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and cultivate relationships with potential corporate sponsors and partners who have a vested interest in sports sponsorships. This includes conducting research to understand their specific sponsorship objectives and aligning them with the sports organization's offerings.

Develop and maintain an extensive network of contacts within the corporate world, including key decision-makers and marketing professionals, to facilitate sponsorship opportunities. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand your contact base.

Create customized sponsorship proposals and presentations that showcase the unique benefits and value of partnering with your sports organization. Tailor these proposals to suit the needs and objectives of potential sponsors.

Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to design and implement innovative sponsorship activation strategies that provide measurable value to sponsors while enhancing the fan experience.

Negotiate sponsorship agreements, ensuring they are mutually beneficial and align with the strategic goals of both the sports organization and the sponsor. This may involve financial terms, activation plans, and performance metrics.

Oversee the fulfilment of sponsorship commitments, ensuring that sponsors receive the agreed-upon benefits and value. Continuously evaluate and report on the effectiveness of sponsorship activations.

Maintain a database of current and potential sponsors, including contact information, past interactions, and notes on their specific sponsorship interests and preferences.

Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging opportunities for sponsorship in the sports sector, and adapt the organization's sponsorship approach accordingly.

Track the return on investment (ROI) for sponsors and regularly report on the financial impact and brand exposure generated through sponsorships. Use this data to refine sponsorship strategies and improve outcomes.

Work closely with the legal and compliance teams to ensure that sponsorship agreements are in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, sports management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Minimum of 8 years of sales management experience. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, including sponsorship revenue.

Strong leadership and team-building skills. Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.

Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

Knowledge of the sports industry and an understanding of fan behavior.

Proficiency in CRM.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the sports schedule.
