About the Role
We are looking for a Head of Social Media with result-driven social marketing experience and a strong creative + analytical background. You will work with a team of thinkers and doers to bring a mix of marketing expertise and business understanding to some of India’s most reputed brands. We’re looking for someone that can inspire others, and take creativity and client ROI to a new level as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and a drive to inspire and execute dynamic campaign ideas that connect with the target audience.
Responsibilities Include:
- Build, plan and implement the overall social marketing strategy for clients.
- Develop marketing campaigns that help achieve the business objectives and increase ROI of the brand.
- Research and write long-form content on various relevant topics
- Outline target audience segments, key geographies, funnel planning and product positioning.
- Establish social media marketing goals for clients and associated budget allocation for each channel
- Present, or oversee presentation of final concepts, and obtain approvals from clients.
- Track social media data to make analysis. Research competition, investigate benchmarks and provide suggestions for improvement of campaigns.
- Collaborate with the design, paid media ads and sales departments.
- Oversee 3rd party partners and platforms that assist in driving valuable scale for our business.
- Lead the team and train them on the latest social media trends and best practices.
Basic Qualification:
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree.
- Minimum 3+ years of full-time agency experience in digital marketing/social media marketing role
- In-depth knowledge of Social Media platforms, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Microsoft Office and other industry-standard advertising and optimization platforms.
- Prior experience with client servicing, team leading, copywriting and design thinking.
- Deep understanding of ad formats, audience segmentation, remarketing audiences and growing trends in social media.
- Exceptional organizational, budgetary and time management skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and provide action-oriented insights.
- Should have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work with cross-functional teams.
- Lastly, should be an aggressive follower of brands and industry trends. - Should spend considerable reading marketing and leadership content
