Health Care Assistant
Location: Sleaford
Salary: £83.33 - £+0.00 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary/Permanent
Are you passionate about providing care and support to children? We are looking for a dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team at a welcoming school in Sleaford. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with medical needs, helping them to thrive in their educational environment.
Responsibilities
• Assist with the daily care needs of students, including personal care and medical support.
• Work closely with the school’s medical and support teams to ensure the well-being of students.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with staff and parents.
• Support students with mobility, feeding, and other physical tasks where necessary.
• Promote independence and confidence in students with health care needs.
Requirements
• Experience as a Health Care Assistant, ideally in a school or child-centred environment.
• A compassionate and patient approach, with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• A relevant care qualification (desirable but not essential).
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
