Provide leadership for the Hotels' Health, Safety and Environment strategies, development, improvements and implementation.
Manage online incident/accident reporting, ensuring all incidents are investigated and hazards minimized or eliminated.
Manage workplace accident reporting, claims and rehabilitation within the relevant legislation.
Act as WHS and Crisis committee secretary, set agenda, take and distribute minutes.
Assist in developing and implementing emergency response procedures and evacuation plans.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years experience in a Health & Safety role within the Hospitality environment.
Demonstrated analytical and commercial awareness.
Thorough understanding of New Zealand Occupational Health & Safety legislation.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication.
