If so, this may be your opportunity to support essential Health, Safety and Wellbeing functions within the Waimakariri District Council.

About the Role

As the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Administrator, your primary focus will be providing technical administrative support to ensure effective Health, Safety and Wellbeing initiatives. While prior Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) experience is not essential, strong administrative skills and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving tasks are essential. Your role may also involve project work, making every day varied and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate and efficient administrative support, ensuring compliance and documentation is maintained
Assist with reporting, data management, and communication of HSW-related information
Undertake project work within the scope of the role as required

Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to pick up tasks quickly and work autonomously

A proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting team objectives
This role is perfect for a detail-oriented administrator who enjoys managing a variety of tasks within a supportive team. Based in Rangiora, this part-time role offers 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday and fixed term for approximately 12 months providing Parental Leave coverage.
