Location: Radius Althorp, 9 Grantston Drive, Pyes Pa, Tauranga 3112

Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours per week, over a rotating roster

IMPORTANT NOTE: Must have a recognized Level 3 caregiving qualification or higher, and D6 dementia psychogeriatric experience.


Pay rate: $27.48 - $29.68 per hour (subject to completed caregiving qualifications)


About the role:

Provide exceptional care to our residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Work closely with a team to implement our individual care plans. Full training provided.

Duties include:

Undertaking personal cares, while encouraging residents to make decisions that promote independence
Promptly completing delegated tasks in a timely manner
Responding quickly to resident requests, providing them with useful, relevant information
Maintaining and updating resident healthcare records
Assisting with handover of residents at shift changes

Skills and Experience:

New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 3 (or equivalent) and 3 years of relevant experience; OR New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 (or equivalent).
D6 Dementia psychogeriatric experience
People skills + empathy for our residents and their families
Good written and verbal communication skills
