About the Role
As a Senior Social Worker in our Community & Outpatient Social Work Team, you will provide social work services to individuals, families, groups, and communities within a primary health care framework. You will be responsible for developing evidence-informed services that meet community needs and supporting management in implementing policies and practices aligned with the service's priorities and standards.
Your Key Responsibilities
Provide a social work service to individuals, families, groups, and communities, focusing on community development and outreach.
Develop and implement evidence-informed services that meet community needs, reflecting the principles of primary health care.
Support management in developing, implementing, and monitoring policies and practices that align with the service's priorities and standards.
Promote community awareness and resilience, working with other agencies, organizations, and stakeholders to deliver integrated health services.
Requirements
You must have extensive experience as a practising social worker, substantial knowledge and skills in providing social work services in community settings, and sound knowledge of primary health care principles. You should also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, and commitment to quality improvement activities. Additionally, you should have proven high-level communication skills, including the ability to build positive working relationships with other service providers, local support organizations, and the wider community.
What We Offer
A competitive salary range of $110,425 to $126,703 per annum.
11.5% superannuation contribution on top of your salary.
