• Location: Banff, AB
• Terms of employment: Permanent, full time 40 to 60 Hours / Week
• Start date As soon as possible
• Benefits: Bonus
• Employment conditions:
On call, Evening, Shift, Weekend Working hours from 08:00 to 17:30
Job requirements:
Education: Relevant training or equivalent experience
Experience: Experience an asset
Own Tools/Equipment:Tools, Steel-toed safety boots

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Area of Specialization:
Engine repair, Electrical and electronic system, Diesel engines, Diagnostics, Brake system, Fuel and
emission system, Ignition and electrical system, Drive train components, Welding, Truck-trailer
repair, Front end components, Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system
Automotive Service Technician Specific Skills:
Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and
components, Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, Test and
adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications, perform scheduled maintenance service,
review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
Mechanical Repairer Specific Skills:
Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, diagnose faults and
malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit,
Repair or replace mechanical units or components, Test and adjust units to specifications,
Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Truck and Transport and Truck-Trailer Mechanic Specific Skills:
Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, Adjust,
repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
1st or 2nd Period Apprentice
