Job description
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues. This role is essential for ensuring the optimal performance of our machinery and equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Utilize an ohmmeter to measure electrical resistance and assist in diagnosing electrical problems.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with other team members to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications
• Proven experience as an Equipment Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
