Responsibilities
Maintenance Service Lead: Heavy Equipment Mechanic Lead
HOW THE MAINTENANCE SECTION LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: The Maintenance Section Lead ensures all non-medical equipment, including vehicles, ASIOE, material handling equipment, heating and air conditioning equipment, dolly sets, power generation, and environmental control units are maintained and repaired in a timely manner; and that associated maintenance reports are completed in accordance with PWS, CMDP and associated regulations
Manages the daily operations of the RTS-MED site Maintenance section
Performs scheduled and unscheduled services on military rolling stock and other equipment utilizing Army Systems such as GCS Army
Manages the cleanliness and organization of all maintenance shop areas and facilities
Provides guidance and direction to staff on service requirements
Coordinates the evacuation of equipment for turn-in, lateral transfer, calibration, or services
Directs cleanup of any chemical spill related to maintenance operations IAW all applicable laws and policies
Reports and documents damage of equipment to Government in a timely manner
Utilizes commercial and military Class A vehicles to transport equipment
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate

Required Education & Experience:
· At least 2 years supervisory experience with one year within unit level operation.
· 1-3 years of related automotive maintenance and repair experience
