We're working with a well-respected family owned heavy equipment company that is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic in the Jackson area. A person that understands the importance of doing a job correctly and is responsible for repairing and maintaining their fleet of earthmoving and pipeline Heavy Equipment on customers job sites. Heavy Equipment Mechanic Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, hydro-static, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems
• Demonstrated abilities to diagnose equipment failures and perform necessary repairs utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools
• Record and document the diagnoses and procedures, order necessary parts, and estimate time to complete equipment repairs
• Attends and successfully completes required technician training classes
• Working knowledge of the hazards and practical application of safety precautions co
