Job description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at Tradestaff New Zealand. As an ideal candidate, you will possess strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hard-working individual to utilise their skills and experience in container devanning and cargo handling. If you have a proven track record of safely operating forklifts and meeting deadlines, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to assist with devanning containers and unloading palletised cargo from trucks
Maintain a high level of safety awareness and adhere to all relevant health and safety protocols
Work effectively as part of a team to achieve operational goals and meet deadlines
Ensure accurate and efficient cargo handling and storage procedures
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in forklift operation and container devanning
Current and valid forklift license
Proven experience in cargo handling and physically fit for hands-on work
Reliable transport and a valid driver's license
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
