Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanics professional at Siddhanth Motors Mahindra for a junior-level, full-time position located in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in vehicle repair and maintenance. This role requires hands-on technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining commercial vehicles and ensuring optimal performance through effective problem-solving and troubleshooting.

Qualifications and Skills

Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various types of commercial vehicles to maintain their performance.
Strong equipment maintenance skills ensuring all tools and equipment are in excellent working condition.
Technical skills with the ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams and manuals effectively.
Keen attention to detail to diagnose issues accurately and provide precise solutions.
Effective problem-solving abilities to identify root causes of mechanical problems and implement solutions promptly.
Excellent communication skills for reporting technical issues and solutions to team members and supervisors.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete repair work within deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs on commercial vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
Diagnose mechanical faults and malfunctions and provide appropriate corrective actions efficiently.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess vehicle conditions and support problem-solving activities.
Liaise with supervisors and team members to discuss repair status and any additional work required.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during all repair and maintenance work.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for future reference and warranty purposes.
Stay informed about new vehicle technologies and techniques to enhance repair and maintenance practices.
Promote a clean and organized work environment by following proper housekeeping practices.
