HGV Technician Needed – Manchester - Days or Nights Available

Working Hours for this HGV Technician:
• Days – 6am - 2:30pm / 2pm–10pm (40 hours, Monday to Friday, plus alternate Saturday overtime at x1.5)
• Nights – +:30pm - 6:30am (45 hours, Monday to Friday, plus Saturday overtime at x1.5)
• Salary: Competitive pay + overtime rate (£20-£22 per hour depending on experience and shift pattern)
Our client, a leading Commercial Group with multiple dealerships and authorised repairers, is seeking experienced HGV Technicians to join their award-winning team. Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician with our Client:
• Service, maintain, and repair heavy goods vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Conduct MOT preparations, ensuring vehicles comply with regulatory standards
• Follow safety procedures and adhere to HGV maintenance regulations
• Utilize strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Work flexible hours, including overtime as required
What our client is looking For in a HGV Technician:
• Strong experience as an HGV Technician
• Qualified to a Level 3 standard in HGV maintenance and repair (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence (Class 1 Licence preferred)
• Relevant certifications and qualifications are advantageous
